Pennsylvania woman arrested. Accused of trying to hire hit man

An undercover operation lead to the arrest of a woman accused of trying to hire a hit man to kill the wife of her estranged husband, reports the Trentonian.

Marilyn Zhou, 56, faces two counts of first degree attempted murder and one count of third degree money laundering.

Fox29 is reporting she allegedly met an undercover officer in Trenton, New Jersey and informed him he wanted to hire him to murder her ex-husband’s new wife. Prosecutors said she offered him $21,000 in cash and supplied him with two color photos of the woman along with rubber gloves and a towel to execute the murder.

She also told him that if the woman’s 13-year old daughter was present, it would be OK to kill her as well.

ABC6 reports Zhou is from Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania but traveled to New Jersey to hire her murderer. Authorities took her into custody shortly after the meeting.
