Jeremy Lin suffers serious concussion. Taken to hospital

Jeremy Lin took a blow to the elbow in a game Sunday against the Formosa Taishin Dreamers, suffering a concussion, reports Basketball News.

The video shows former Charlotte Hornet Chris McCullough going up for a rebound and his elbow impacting Lin’s head. The blow sent Lin to the ground with his head hitting hard on the court.

Medical workers brought a stretcher out to the court, but Lin left on his own power although he appeared wobbly.

During a post-game news conference, Lin said he didn’t know if he would return to the basketball court next season. He averaged more than 26 points per game for the Kaohsiung 17LIVE Steelers in Taiwan’s P League.

He would later be taken to the hospital for evaluation.

Earlier in the season, he left the Guangzhou Loong Lions in China after a disagreement over his playing time. Lin won a championship with both the Beijing Ducks in China and the Toronto Raptors in the NBA.

He is best known for his brief stint with the New York Knicks where Linsanity captivated the world.

“I’ll be back healthy soon,” Lin said on Twitter. We fought til the end, we hold our heads high. We absolutely did not fail. I’ll never forget this season.
