An elderly Asian man in Las Vegas says the neighbor who he says slammed him to the ground is getting off too lightly.
KTNV reports the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department arrested Christian Lentz for residential burglary.
75-year-old Amadeo Quindara told the ABC affiliate the neighbor approached him while he was sitting in his garage, threatened him and left.
The surveillance video seen in the report below shows a man returning and threatening him several times.
The man could be heard telling Quindara “be on a ventilator” and “die” multiple times.
The victim described being punched repeatedly and being slammed to the ground causing his head to be injured.
“He walked away and started talking. ‘You should speak English. You should speak English. You Japanese,’” Quindara said.
He says he now lives in fear and that the words hurts him more than his physical injuries.
Lentz has been released from jail.

Charged with attempted burglary? That’s racist in itself. He needs to be charged with a hate crime and assault!! Who presided over this charge … or lack of charge? Hope there is a protest.
