A mural dedicated to Tony Hsieh was unveiled in Downtown Las Vegas Saturday on what would have been his 50th birthday, KTNV reports.
According to News 3 LV, the mural is located at Strong Start Academy Elementary School in Las Vegas.
The former Zappos CEO passed away in November 2020 during a housefire in Connecticut at the age of 46. His family and friends were present at the unveiling ceremony. Las Vegas Mayor Carol Goodman and students from the Strong Start Academy also attended.
Hsieh had expressed his commitment to revitalizing Downtown Las Vegas. He founded The Downtown Project, investing $350 million into improvements.
The Downtown Project posted about the mural on Instagram.
