A production company called The Exchange has acquired the sales rights to Worth the Wait, a romantic comedy featuring an Asian ensemble cast and starring Lana Conrod and Andrew Koji, Variety reports.
Worth the Wait, directed by Tom Shu-Yu Lin, will follow Asian American strangers from Seattle and Kuala Lumpur over a year as their lives intertwine. The ensemble cast will also include Ross Butler, Sung Kang, Elodie Yung, Karena Lam and Kheng Hua Tan.
Koji posted the news on Instagram with the caption, “Here we go!”
According to its website, The Exchange is a finance and production company “committed to creating strong relationships between filmmakers, film financiers and distributors through the exchange of product, information and commerce.” The company will introduce the film to buyers at the European Film Market in Berlin, IMDb reports.
