Korean American tennis player Jessica Pegula and her doubles partner Coco Gauff lost their quarter-final match at Wimbledon on Wednesday.
The pair, who are the no. 11 seed, lost to the no.1 doubles pairing of Elise Mertens and Hsieh Su-wei in straight sets 6-2, 6-1.
Pegula has been dealing with injuries earlier this year. At the end of May, she announced she would not compete in the French Open in June to focus on recovery, ESPN reports.
The 30-year-old can now focus on upcoming tournaments and competitions like the Olympics. Both Pegula and Gauff are set to represent Team USA in Paris in a few weeks.
