Fan favorite Ashley Park is featured heavily in the new official trailer for “Emily in Paris:” Season 4 Part 1.
Netflix released the trailer on Monday, to the delight of fans. Part 1 is set to premiere on August 15.
Park plays Mindy, the best friend of the titular character Emily. Throughout the show Mindy helps Emily navigate her life in Paris as an American while pursuing her own dreams of becoming a singer.
In the trailer, Mindy is seen listening to Emily as she struggles with her love life. There is also a shot of her performing on stage in front of a large crowd.
Park was hospitalized in January 2024 after a case of tonsillitis led to septic shock. It made filming the fourth and final season more difficult for her.
“Filming was physically taxing in a way I hadn’t previously endured. But I had to stop gaslighting myself and be like, I’m allowed to feel this way. I’ll do the best I can in these stilettos and this latex skirt, and I can be proud when I watch this season and think about the amount of passion and hard work I put in just to be there,” she said in an interview with Just Jared.
