Basketball star Jeremy Lin announced the birth of his son in an Instagram post on Friday.
“A few months ago my amazing wife and I were blessed w the best possible gift we could receive. Fatherhood has honestly been the best experience of my life even though I get less sleep lol,” Lin wrote in the caption.
Lin, who lit up the NBA over a decade ago with a brilliant run of games known as “Linsanity,” has always kept his personal life private. A few years ago he announced that he had been married for two years.
The 36-year-old said fatherhood has given him “a much deeper understanding and appreciation of the love thats been shown to me, by God, my parents and my loved ones.”
