4B movement gains momentum among American Women amid political shifts
The 4B Movement, originating in South Korea, is drawing attention in the U.S., particularly among AAPI women, in light of Donald Trump’s 2024 election victory. Advocating for rejecting patriarchal norms like marriage and traditional gender roles, the movement resonates with Asian American women concerned about the potential rollback of women’s rights under the new administration.
This growing cross-cultural adoption highlights a rising awareness of systemic gender inequities and their intersection with politics. With its bold stance and timely message, the 4B Movement has sparked a new wave of feminist dialogue, making it a pivotal topic within AAPI communities navigating a challenging political climate.
