Just 58 votes separate Rep. Michelle Steel (R) and Derek Tran (D) in the California House 45 race.
According to NBC News, Steel leads the race with 152,415 votes, while Tran has 152,357. The news outlet estimates that there are still 34,000 votes left to count.
If Tran wins, he will flip a much-needed seat for the Democrats.
