Family of missing woman holds rally

The family of Hannah Kobayashi, who has been missing since early November, held a rally in Los Angeles to raise awareness about her disappearance.

The 30-year-old is from Maui and was last seen in a surveillance video on November 11. The footage showed Kobayashi at a Los Angeles Metro station with an unknown person.

“She is loved and I can’t stress this enough to the public, we wouldn’t be doing this if this was just a young woman who would ‘leave on her own accord’ if she was just exploring and ‘wanted her family to leave her alone’ … because we keep hearing that and we know that’s not the case,” Kobayashi’s aunt Larie Pidgeon, told ABC 7 Los Angeles.

According to KTLA, Kobayashi’s family grew concerned when she missed her 11 p.m. flight on November 8.

Her family says they received a number of suspicious texts from her phone after she went missing.

“She’s a beautiful girl inside and outside,” her father, Ryan Kobayashi said at the rally, per KTLA. “Just reach out, if you can at all.”
