Deadline Wednesday for McDonald’s AAPI Scholarship

Daisy Panhilason was once homeless. Today she is a nurse.

Shanay Desai feared his dream of attending college would be derailed due to his family’s struggles with high health care costs. Today he is about to graduate from Vanderbilt in pursuit of a medical degree.

Both Daisy and Shanay are McDonald AAPI Scholars.

The restaurant chain this year is once again partnering with AAPI Scholars to offer scholarships of up to $20,000.

The deadline to apply is this Wednesday, January 15.

Applications are accepted here.

Awards are based on academic achievement, community service and financial need. More than half of the students come from underrepresented communities.
