4-year-old Athena and 2-year-old Mateo Lee haven’t been seen for 7 months since police found their mother Angelico Bravo dead in the Sacramento, CA home of their father, Camron Lee.
Lee is also Bravo’s ex-boyfriend who police believe is in Mexico.
The family this week announced the reward for information leading to the children has been increased to $13,000.
“We are so grateful for your support!” the family said in a statement on its GiveSendGo campaign. “Believing that God is on the move and that He will bring Athena and Mateo home to us! Thank you so very much for your continued prayers. It truly means the world to our family. May God bless you.”
Donations are still being accepted with a goal of raising the reward to $50,000.
According to the Inquirer, police believe the children are with their father but have not issued an arrest warrant for him.
Police say their priority is finding the children.
Anyone who has information about their whereabouts is asked to call the Sacramento Police Department at (916) 808-5471 or (916) 808-0560.
