Anti-Masker Knocked Out at Asian Restaurant

CATEGORIES

A video of an anti-masker being punched in the face at an Asian restaurant after refusing to wear a mask has gone viral, Daily Mail reports.

The video, which now has over six million views, shows a man berating the waitstaff at an Asian restaurant for asking him to wear a mask.

In the video, the man tells one of the workers, an Asian woman, that she is “discriminating” against him because he does not want to wear a mask.

“You’re going to f*ck your restaurant up!” the man can be heard yelling.

A staff member explains to him that there is a mask mandate.

An older customer tells the man to leave, which further enrages him. The man shoves the grey-haired customer, prompting another customer wearing a blue hoodie to punch the man in the face.

“That’s assault!” the man shouts.

He threatens to call the police, but it appears to be an empty threat.

The name of the restaurant and its location remains unclear. According to USA Today, the following states have mask mandates for everyone, regardless of vaccination status: District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon and Washington. California, Connecticut and New York require that unvaccinated persons wear a mask. Some cities in each of the states also have mask mandates for everyone, regardless of vaccination status.
