Former U.S. Attorney Byung “BJay” Pak testified before the Congressional Committee today looking into the January 6 attack on the Capitol that he found no evidence of voter fraud.
Pak resigned from his post in August as U.S. Attorney in Georgia saying if he had not resigned he would have been fired for refusing to support President Trump’s lies of voter fraud. He is said to be the first Korean American to hold the position of U.S. Attorney.
“Nothing irregular happened in the counting and the allegations Mr. (Rudy) Giuliani made were false,” Pak testified about Trump’s attorney claims of “suitcases full of ballots” being smuggled in.
Pak outlined how a closer look at a video Giuliani said substantiated allegations of voter fraud did not support the claim.
He also said the Attorney General who replaced him, Bobby Christine, also investigated the accusations of voter fraud.
“He was unable to find any evidence of fraud,” said Pak.
