Disney+ has released a second teaser trailer for its upcoming series “American Born Chinese.”
The series is based on a graphic novel of the same name by Gene Luen Yang. The story follows Jin Wang who is trying to balance high school life with his at-home problems. When he meets a foreign exchange student at school, his world is turned upside down as he becomes involved in a battle between mythical Gods.
The new 30-second teaser trailer, titled “Epic Adventure,” gives viewers a glimpse into some of the problems Jin encounters.
The cast features Ben Wang and Jim Lou, with guest appearances from Michelle Yeo, Ke Huy Quan and Stephanie Hsu. The series will premiere on May 24.
