Prosecutors in Manhattan have released more details about the beating of Alexian Lien allegedly at the hands of a group of motorcyclists.
According to the NY Post, prosecutors say five or six bikers dragged Lien out of his Range Rover before beating him with their fists, boots and helmets–even kicking him in the head as he tried to crawl away.
The details emerged during the arraignment of Robert Sims in a Manhattan criminal court Saturday night.
Prosecutors say Sims has a record of gun and drug possession and has admitted to being caught on video.
“The defendant is clearly seen stomping on [Lien’s] head,” said assistant district attorney Joshua Steinglass.
Sims attorney said the bikers only struck Lien to prevent him from leaving after he hit one of the bikers with his Range Rover.
The NY Post also reports an undercover officer witnessed the beating, but believed he would have put his own life in jeopardy by blowing his cover.
