Jeremy Lin scored 14 points in a preseason game in the Philippines between the Houston Rockets and Indiana Pacers, reports Phil Star.
The Rockets handily defeated the Pacers 116 to 96 with fans cheering Lin’s every move.
Lin sat on the bench at the beginning of the game as coach Kevin McHale elected to start Patrick Beverley and bring Lin off the bench.
The Harvard grad played 23 minutes and added 6 rebounds and 5 assists to his 14 points in 3 of 6 shooting.
Lin posted on his Facebook page “Had a blast in the Philippines. Unbelievable fans and binukadkad na pla-pla!”
He showed a picture of him eating a fried fish dish. The next stop for the Rockets will be Taiwan.
