Talk about main character energy: The stars and producers of Interior Chinatown hit the red carpet Thursday night in L.A. for the show’s screening premiere.
All episodes of the series, based on Charles Yu’s acclaimed novel, will be released on Hulu on Nov. 19.
The show follows Willis Wu, played by Jimmy O. Yang, a struggling character actor in Chinatown who is relegated to background roles but aspires to be the lead of his own story. His life changes when he accidentally witnesses a crime.
It also stars Ronny Chieng, Chloe Bennet, Lisa Gilroy, Sullivan Jones, Archie Kao, and Diana Lin.
Yu, who adapted his own novel, serves as showrunner and executive producer. Taika Waititi, also an executive producer, directed the pilot.
