Justin Lin’s next big franchise movie, Bourne Identity, has been given an August 2015 release date, reports the Inquisitr.
Lin dropped out of the Fast & Furious franchise, for which he is credited with invigorating, in part because he felt he could not meet the demands of the hectic production schedule the studio had laid out for the next movie, Fast & Furious 7.
Director James Wan stepped in to take over the Fast & Furious franchise for Lin. Production has been halted due to the death of Paul Walker this past weekend.
The next Bourne Identity will mark the return of Jeremy Renner who played Aaron Cross in The Bourne Legacy.
Matt Damon has decided not to come back as Jason Bourne.
