Senator Pat Roberts (R-Kansas) has a strange way of softening someone up before grilling him.
Slate reports the Senator from Kansas grilled surgeon general nominee Vivek Murthy about tweets he had made about the NRA, but not before inviting him to Kansas so he could meet two wonderful Indian American doctors.
