NY Daily News: Charges won’t be downgraded in Alexian Lien biker beating

motorcycle chaseProsecutors have reversed themselves and say they will not downgrade charges against an undercover police officer and other bikers in the Alexian Lien beating, reports the NY Daily News.

The decision to reduce charges against officer Wojciech Braszczok and other bikers was made in December after it appeared the injuries sustained by Lien were not as serious as first thought.

You can read what this means in terms of the possible sentence the suspects could get if convicted in the NY Daily News.
