Vice President Joe Biden and his wife Jill hosted Asian American and Pacific Islander leaders at their Vice Presidential Residence and Office at the United States Naval Observatory in Washington, DC Wednesday, reports NDTV.
Several of the invitees including the East Coast Asian American Students Union, United Sikhs and Angry Asian Man Phil Yu tweeted out pictures of the event.

“All of you represent the business community, the education community, the military community, you represent the president’s commission, you’re all among the most talented people in the country,” Biden said.
He predicted much of the world will evolve around Asia and that Asian Americans will play a vital role in helping the United States reach out to that region.
