Back in December you might recall then candidate Donald Trump compared the incarceration of Japanese Americans to his proposed ban on Muslims.

It shouldn’t then come as a surprise that now a Trump surrogate is using incarceration camps as a justification for forcing Muslims in this country to register the same way a sexual predator might register.
The idea is so far out there even Fox News host Meghan Kelly expressed disbelief.

One of the people that might have an influence on whether a Muslim registry happens is South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley. The two are scheduled to meet today and there are many reports which indicate Haley is being considered for Secretary of State.
The Indian American was outspoken during the election against some of Trump’s statements and endorsed Marco Rubio. Trump countered by calling Haley an embarrassment. In the end, Haley said she would vote for Trump.
