Mistakes happen all the time, but this is more than a simple mistake. It’s a huge blunder.
Fox News has apologized after running a picture of U.S. Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) as that of a male murder-suicide suspect, reports the Sacramento Bee.
Harris is one of handful of woman U.S. Senators in office and a frequent critic of President Trump. Her name is often mentioned as a possible candidate for president in 2020.

At first I wondered how an editor mistook a picture of a Black male for a Black woman.
In fact, Yahoo ran tweets from several people who wondered if the mistake might have been intentional.
At closer inspection, the photo of Harris appears to have been on a separate video from the scene of the murder suicide.
This looks like a case of rolling the wrong video which can happen in TV news.
