Michelle Wie is Engaged

Michelle Wie is already conquering 2019. Just a few weeks ago, she made her first start in a golf tournament after returning from wrist surgery. Now, the professional golfer is engaged.

According to The Los Angeles Times, Wie announced her engagement on Instagram Sunday night. Her fiance’s name is Jonnie West, the son of NBA legend Jerry West.

The couple was allegedly set up by professional golfer Justin Thomas, The New York Post reports. Thomas congratulated the couple on his Instagram story.

Wie has kept her relationship relatively private. The 29-year-old golfer first posted a photo of the pair on January 25.

Wie has not released any wedding details yet. Her fans are also anxiously awaiting more information on her injury. Wie returned to golf following wrist surgery in February but withdrew from HSBC Women’s Championship due to injury.
