Asians wearing MAGA hats become targets

Former Miss Michigan Kathy Zhu says she’s been labeled a White supremacist because she’s a MAGA hat-wearing Trump supporter, reports the College Fix.

Republican Vice Party Chair Peter Kuo of the San Francisco Bay Area says once friends learn he backs the President they unfriend him on Facebook.

Such is the life of those who say they want to make America great again and proudly wear a hat identified with Donald Trump. It’s happened at his political rallies. It’s happened on social media.

The irony is palpable. They support a President widely condemned for openly ridiculing anyone who disagrees with him and at times seemingly encouraging his supporters to physically attack those who oppose him.

“When I see someone wearing the MAGA hat, what I see is an endorsement of the White nationalist agenda that President Donald Trump has put forward through his words and his actions,” Zahra Billoo, the executive director of the San Francisco Bay Area Council on American-Islamic Relations, told KRON4 News.

But Zhu says calling her a White supremacist is “complete slander and incites violence towards me, ” she posted on Twitter.

“If people knew that I’m a Trump supporter they would not only physically attack me, they will unfriend me on Facebook, they say a lot of things that it’s utterly crazy nowadays. You know, yeah,” Kuo said to KRON4.

Most sensible people agree no one deserves to be attacked or harassed because of their political believes. We are the United States of America and not the United Disunion.

Perhaps its time to take a step back and analyze what this country is in danger of becoming.

Take your anger to the ballot box, and not to your neighbor.
