The Hindu American Foundation expressed both devastation & grief at the tragic shootings in Newtown, Connecticut that left 28 people dead, including 20 children and the gunman.
“As a mother of two young sons, I can’t even begin to fathom the loss and agony the parents of the victims are going through right now,” said Suhag Shukla, the Hindu American Foundation’s executive director and legal counsel.
The statement also praised the first responders for their heroic efforts.
