confettiFrom being named President of the World Bank to New York’s first Asian American congressional representative, Asian Americans can remember 2012 as a year of many accomplishments

Northwest Asian Weekly counted down the top 10 Asian American accomplishments in 2012. One Asian American was awarded a congressional medal of honor while another was recognized by the President of the Philippines.  Still another became the first elected Asian American woman to the Senate.

Two Vietnamese Americans made the list, along with yet another Indian American spelling bee champ. Who or what would you have included in the list?
