A new poll out found half of all Asian Americans polled say they relied on ethnic media to get their news during the last election season, reports Yahoo.
The survey by the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund found Korean, Vietnamese and Chinese Americans particularly depended on ethnic language media on television for their news. More than 9,000 Asian Americans were surveyed in a multi-language poll. Final figures found that 77 percent voted for President Obama. That’s slightly higher than the number previously reported based on preliminary results.
The economy and jobs top the list of issues most important to Asian Americans.
