A new survey has found that roles for minority actors on Broadway increased to 23 percent during the 2011-2012 season. That’s a 2 percent increase from the prior year, reported Town Hall.
Asian American actors also saw an uptick to 3 percent, an increase of one percent. Asian Americans make up 13 percent of the New York population and 9 percent of the tri-state area.
