A Filipino American attorney will become the first Philippine-born judge in the state of New Jersey.
Carlia Magpantay Brady won unanimous approval from the 13-member judiciary committee of the State Senate in Trenton’s State House –
In an exclusive interview with GMA, she said “I am thrilled because this is a huge honor to serve the people of the State of New Jersey,” said Brady, 41.
She will be just the second Filipino American to serve in the state superior court.
