The incoming President of Carnegie Mellon University has been named Asian American Engineer of the Year, according to Asian Scientist.
Dr. Subra Suresh received the Lifetime Achievement award at the Asian American Engineer of the Year ceremony for his work leading a $7 billion dollar National Science Foundation.
He was among 19 people honored at the award ceremony in Dallas for their contributions to U.S. research.You can read about other honorees in the Asian Scientist.
