Jeremy Lin’s unpredictability may be part of his magic. Lin in his first full season as a starter has proven to be more than a capable player. But what makes him dangerous, according to blogger Forest Walker of Red 94, is that Lin’s “an exceedingly promising ball of chaos.”
His reckless drives, no look passes and circus shots give opposing teams something to think about and provides the Rockets another weapon. Walker compares Lin to Russell Westbrook of the Oklahoma City thunder. Westbrook has developed into a superstar alongside Kevin Durant. Westbrook’s value comes from disruption of the opposing team’s defense, much like what Lin is threatening to become.
Westbrook and Durant have developed into quite a duo. Lin and James Harden could do the same thing. Read more of Walker’s argument in Red 94 and tell us what you think.
