Linsanity, the documentary on the rise of Jeremy Lin, will play to a sold out crowd this Saturday at the Hong Kong Film Festival, reports the Wall Street Journal.
Director Evan Jackson Leong is in Hong Kong to promote the film which is still hoping to find a distributor. Leong got to know Lin really well during the making of the film.
“He’s the same person I’ve known for the last four years,” Leong says. “Everything [he did] was built around humility, and he’s kept it. “It’s funny, he tells me, ‘All I want is shoes. And I get them for free!’”
To the best of my knowledge, this is the first international screening of the film.
