Boxing Promoter Bob Arum will reportedly announce this week who Manny Pacquiao will fight in September, according to Boxing News 24.
Pacquiao has wanted a rematch with Juan Manuel Marquez who knocked him out in December, but Marquez has stated as late as last week he’d prefer to fight WBO Welterweight Champion Tim Bradley.
Some speculate Arum will trump Marquez with an announcement that it will be Pacquiao who will face Bradley.
The fight is likely to be in Macao and Singapore and feature Chinese boxer Zou Shiming on the card. Arum could potentially target China’s huge pay per view audience.
