Actor Ken Jeong made a wacky entrance on Jimmy Kimmel Live Friday night. The guy sure knows how to milk the audience for applause.
He was there to promote his next movie, Pain & Gain, which stars Mark Wahlberg & Dwayne Johnson. Jeong plays a motivational speaker in the movie and says he inspires Wahlberg’s character to do bad things.
In real life, Jeong took credit for motivating both Wahlberg and Johnson to get into shape for the movie. Jeong is also a licensed medical doctor in real life and one of Jimmy Kimmel’s band members was actually one of his former patients.
He watches season 4 of the TV show “Scrubs” to keep his license active, and said, he has medical marijuana for everybody in the trunk of his Camry.
Jeong also promoted the final installment in the Hangover series, Hangover 3, which is scheduled to be released May 24.
He promised moviegoers will get to see him do death defying stunts that have only been done by three other actors.
Jeong’s Korean American father is extremely proud, but critical of his son’s career. He says its like getting B’s in math all over again.
