Maya Lin of course is best known for designing the Vietnam War Memorial in Washington, D.C.
But her new show at New York’s Pace Gallery, shows the depth of her work. “Here & There” runs through June 22 and focuses on the environment, landscape and waterways of Manhattan.
The New York Times published a slide show of the exhibition this morning that is worth checking out. As with the Vietnam War Memorial, her pieces are simplistic and powerful at the same time. Fascinating stuff.
