Perhaps no one has been credited more with catapulting Charice’s career than Oprah Winfrey.
But according to a report in the International Business Times, the songtress’ Godfather told TV 5 the controversy over Charice’s new look and tattoos has forced Oprah Winfrey to drop Charice from her preferred talent list.
Robert Ybera made the remarks to both TV 5 and Pep.Ph.
No one has been able to confirm Ybera’s remarks. A check of Oprah’s Harpo’s production website finds that Charice’s album is still being promoted on it.
Ybera is now estranged from Charice’s family after helping the young singer earlier in her career. Charice has also reportedly severed ties with manager Grace Mendoza.
