Comedians Ken Jeong and Kunal Nayyar of the Big Bang Theory will guest star tonight on the season premier of Sullivan and Son.
The TBS comedy begins its second season despite mediocre ratings and a mishap to creator and lead actor Steve Byrne, according to Yahoo TV
Someone punched him and broke his jaw, forcing production last season to shut down for six weeks.
“Having your jaw wired shut … made it very difficult to not be able to communicate on a daily basis,” the Irish and Korean actor admitted to Yahoo TV. “You take things for granted like sneezing, yawning. That’s very painful … It’s odd that when your jaw’s wired shut, people speak louder to you for some reason.”
Byrne said he could not say more about what happened to him for legal reasons.
Sullivan and Son airs on TBS and is executive produced by Vince Vaughn. You can read more about Vaughn’s role on the show in Yahoo TV.
