Indian American Vivek Wadha is leading the charge on what he calls the Twitter mafia, reports the Hindustan Times
The microblogging service is under attack for its lack of gender diversity on both its board and in its senior positions.
The increased attention on the popular service comes days after Twitter announced its IPO.
“The fact that they went to the IPO without a single woman on the board, how dare they?” Wadhwa wrote in the New York Times.
Twitter CEO Dick Costolo fired back with his own strong words, tweeting that Wadha is the “Carrot Top of academic sources.”
