With the death toll now feared to be as high as 10,000 people in the Philippines, efforts are intensifying to get aid the to typhoon ravaged areas,
KPCC has compiled a list of relief organizations.
Organizations such as the Philippine Red Cross, Americare, World Vision, and the American Red Cross are accepting donations. You should designate your donation specifically for the typhoon victims. As of today, the American Red Cross had not sent anyone to the Philippines.
Google has also launched a people search tool for those still trying to track down loved ones in the devastated area. The typhoon has been named Haiyan in the United States, but is known as Yolanda in the Philippines.
