The one-woman show, Wong Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest, has been released on DVD and On-Demand video platforms, reports AA Press.
The play stars Kristina Wong and takes a satirical look at the reported high rates of suicide among Asian American women. According to a 2012 report from the American Psychological Association, suicide is the second leading cause of death among Asian American women ages 15 to 34. The show originally premiered in 2006.
The video will feature an October 2008 performance before a live audience at Miles Memorial Playhouse in Santa Monica, Calif.
