Much has been written about the trademark fight the Slants are fighting.
The Asian American rock band is being prohibited by the US Patent & Trademark Office from trademarking their name because it is considered derogatory toward Asians.
But the Slants say they intentionally chose the name to take back the name and empower the Asian American community.
Today the band took a break from its trademark struggle and released on Yahoo its brand new single Adopted from it new album simply titled The Yellow Album.
