NDTV: Indian American named dean of Harvard College

Harvard College is one of two schools at Harvard University offering undergraduate degrees.

“He brings to the deanship an intimate understanding of the Harvard College experience, a profound commitment to the values of a liberal-arts education, and a warm and compassionate personality that accompanies his belief in the importance of community and an inclusive approach to decision-making,” said Faculty Art and Sciences Dean Michael Smith.

Khurana who currently is the Marvin Bower Professor of Leadership Development at Harvard Business School (HBS), professor of sociology in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS) and co-master of Cabot House at Harvard will begin his new position in July.
