Jeremy Lin scored 26 points off the bench and took over for the fouled out Patrick Beverley in overtime to help the Houston Rockets overcome a 12 point deficit in a 118 -113 win over the Portland Trailblazers, reports Red94.
Lin’s minutes have been down significantly of late as his scoring production has plummeted since the trade deadline past.
He’s been slowed down by a bad back, but last night coach Kevin McHale went to a small ball line up and played Lin and Beverley side by side for much of the game.
When Beverley fouled out, Lin took over at the point during the overtime period.
Jeremy responded by hitting a fadeaway jumper that gave the Rockets the lead for good.
Harden led the Rockets with 41.
