Sources tell ABC7 News in San Francisco that California State Senator Leland Yee who is currently running for Secretary of State has been indicted on corruption charges.
Yee was arrested in handcuffs. In all 26 people were charged including convicted Chinatown gang member Raymond Chow, who is known as “Shrimp Boy.”
Yee is accused of trafficking firearms in exchange for campaign contributions.
Search warrants were reportedly being issued across the Bay Area involving gang members.
