Just a day after his arrest on corruption charges, California State Senator Leland Yee has dropped out of the Secretary of State race, reports ABC7.
The move by Yee isn’t slowing down talk from Democrats that Yee resign from the State Senate.
Fellow State Senator Mark Leno (D-San Francisco) said if Yee doesn’t resign, the Senate will vote to suspend him tomorrow.
