Three-time Olympic short track medalist JR Celski is going to take a break from the sport, reports NBC.
Celski who won a team medal in the Sochi games, but failed to medal individually there, says he’ll leave the sport for an indefinite period of time to perhaps pursue film or advertising.
The Filipino American says he wants to take the time to figure out his post-skating future.
“I know that I’m going to take a little time off, regain my bearings, rest the body, rest the mind,” Celski said last week. “I love skating. I really foresee that in my future. I’m just not sure when.”
