A new public service announcement airing nationally on Comcast cable television addresses misconceptions about Sikh Americans, reports Fast Company.
The video was produced by the South Asian Legal Defense and Education Fund and features Sikh American actor and designer Waris Singh Ahluwalia introducing members of his community who he says are “blazing new paths and contributing to their communities in exciting ways.”
Waris is the same actor who was featured on a Gap Subway ad that was defaced by racist graffiti.
The ad is scheduled to air through July 27.
